Volts are the currency used in Cobalt Survival, Story Mode and Team Strike, as well as Cobalt WASD.

Volts are also in the Bounty game mode, however that is no longer in the game as of the latest release.

They are used to:

Obtainment[ | ]

In Waves Survival, each player may receive a certain amount of Volts at the beginning of the round and when respawning. Volts also can be obtained by selling weapons to shops, or collecting pickups from slain enemies. Pickups are automatically converted to volts.

In Classic Survival, volts are obtained by collecting pickups and converting them at a Volt Converter.

In Story Mode, volts are obtained by collecting pickups that automatically convert to volts, much like Waves Survival.

In Team Strike, players can earn volts based on winning a round (+200 volts), losing a round (+125 volts) and drawing with the other team (+75 volts).

In the Bounty gamemode, in maps such as Safest Gate, Volts can be collected instantly (without having to venture back to the Volt Converter) by finding volt-pickups.

In Cobalt WASD, Volts are obtained much like Team Strike, as well as kills.
